Great post and as someone who have tried to build using my own data via the Strava API , I am happy if Garmin stay firm on this. The hypocrisy that Strava complains of Garmin requirements is brutal as Strava asked me (as a sole developer) position Strava in the exact same way…
Previous @Strava partner aggressiveness were already the last straw for me, so quit my Premium subscription. Sad, I can't cancel my subscription again. This is completely bonkers.
