Idea for an identity. Just a start. Early stage biomed company. I think something like this could be made into an interesting 2D mark, but also use displaced forms as a storytelling element.
Pluribus is great. I see so much slop everywhere all the time. Amazing to see something so well written and well made. We should keep our bars high.
Great story. Also probably really hard because we define so much by what already exists. What can make you certain that you are competing for the right prize?
Startup beef is always funny. Years ago, I worked at a marketplace & we decided Craigslist was our enemy. We built narratives around “beating” them, studied their every move, and even shaped internal goals around taking their users. I’m pretty sure they never thought about us…
Everybody watch. It’s pretty awesome.
Animator Dan Mark creates mind blowing Bakugo vs Inosuke animation which took him 4 years
They said #Iran was all desert — we showed them art and history in every arch and every skyline. This is just Tehran. 🏛️🇮🇷✨ #IranianArchitecture
Another Iranian apartment design to swoon over. This is just a render, but demonstrates simple architecture done well. Compact form, shaded balconies, one or two materials carefully detailed (okay, the tree helps too!) By Diyar Architectural Group
I think typeface as person might be more interesting. What font is this?
Which font is this?
Adding to the list.
As an economist I was hesitant reading this book. But was pleasantly surprised. For a sweeping & accurate history of economics, from ancient Greece to contemporary times—George Akerlof, Joseph Stiglitz, Amartya Sen, all in less than 250 pages, it turned out to be a page turner.
Let me tell you how what the Pope says here relates to branding.....
The world needs honest and courageous entrepreneurs and communicators who care for the common good. We sometimes hear the saying: “Business is business!” In reality, it is not so. No one is absorbed by an organization to the point of becoming a mere cog or a simple function. Nor…
I don't know how this happened, but non-extractionist-build-human-things twitter has started to pop up in my feed. 12 months of muting is starting to pay off.
The smart part of this is understanding that you can make a lot by integrating with already successful tools. Plugins, integrations etc.

So people pull up in their boats?
Stadiums surrounded by a sea of parking are a policy failure. And ugly as hell. This is how it’s done.
See? When we build for budget efficiency and productivity we are being anti-human. We build in scales and patterns that reinforce the feeling that we are NPCs. Effective architecture and planning emphasize humanity through expression, scale, and infrastructure.
Modernist architecture is designed to make us sick and anxious. Study from Cambridge University: “The results revealed that façades with regularly spaced elements at approximately three cycles per degree exhibited the highest stress metrics, particularly when combined with high…
AI does not democratize art or writing or anything else. Anyone can choose to draw and paint and write. Kids do it all the time.
