Since it is Paulo Freire's birthday, I want to remind everyone what he taught us: there’s no such thing as a politically neutral education, a politically neutral curriculum, or a politically neutral pedagogy.
I’m still buzzing after two days of learning from and with some VSPs (Very Smart People™️). Exciting things ahead for the IPE of finance. Much gratitude to everyone involved for your efforts and intellectual generosity 🙂
Thank you so much to all the speakers, paper givers, discussants and participants for their invaluable contribution this weekend at the @APBTutzing: Tim Sinclair‘s legacy is alive in the #IPE of Finance! @RIPEJournal @uniofwarwick

Syllabi designed from scratch should count as much as publications for the purposes of promotion and tenure. Full stop.
📣Strange wanted to tear down the “old walls between the social sciences” and make IPE an “open range”. A place for economists, lawyers, sociologists, historians, geographers & others to advance understanding together ✅IMO more interesting than endless 'critique' between camps
