George R. R. Martin is disappointed that Paddy Considine was left out of the Emmys Best Actor category by the Television Academy. “Most of our team will have other shots at the prize in seasons to come, to be sure, but that’s not true for Paddy Considine — and that’s…
If you’re a parent of a Year 6 child, just go and say one nice thing to their teaching staff. We’re easily pleased, absolutely on our knees and still have a huge week to go!
The fact that @GillianKeegan hasn't spoken to the teaching unions for the past three months or released the STRB report so that schools can finalise next year's budgets demonstrates how little regard she actually has for teachers. We fight on. #SaveOurSchools #DoYourJobGill

You'll need to employ a large number of maths teachers. How are you planning to do that when teacher pay is being eroded, when inadequate funding is leading to redundancies and when workload is increasingly unmanageable? There's a massive teacher exodus that needs addressing.
If I worked for OFSTED, the question I’d be asking is ‘Am I improving/helping education in this country or making it worse?’ If overall my answer was ‘worse’, I couldn’t stay silent, I’d have to look to leave, regardless of the monster pay on offer. Then again, I would never have…
Although it’s hurtful to be called “a complete embarrassment” I’m really glad people are properly checking to see that I’m clearly not a parody.
Our members do not recognise the government’s calculations on the affordability of the offer, with the vast majority of head teachers and school business leaders saying they could not pay the rise from their existing budgets.
