Learn german with me
@learnlangwithme
Hi, i'm a student living in Bristol, learning how to speak German, I want to share what I learn with you. You never know, you might just learn something
The letter ß is only used in the German language. When pronounced in a word, it tends to sound like a "ss" sound in English.
If you ever want to use a ß used in German words like Heißt on a keyboard, hold alt and type 0223 in the keypad.
In German, the word "Du" means "you" in English, so you could use it in a phrase like "Du Heißt" which means "you are called"
Wie is the german word for "how". I use the phrase "This is HOW WIE do it" to remember it.
So starting with simple words to learn, something you would probably say in every conversation the word hallo means hi.
