Discord is moving their default GIF Search Provider from Tenor to Giphy and Klipy. This is due to the Tenor API shutting down in June of this year. In a new experiment, Discord is testing which provider users prefer.
Why not completely disable image generation instead of paywalling it?
The Twitter life cycle -Some update is announced with a bad change -People panic, delete or nuke their account and move to Bluesky. -Update ends up being not that bad or in this case, fake. -People who left eventually come back cause Bluesky is less popular. -Rinse and repeat.
