Baker kindergarten students had fun learning all about the different classroom instruments. They worked with partners to determine how to play the instruments (hit, shake, or scrape).

The Baker music classes had a fun time celebrating Halloween this past week...Pass the Witch's Broomstick, Spooky Skeletons with boomwhackers, composing/performing Halloween rhythms, the Pumpkin Bones song, writing/performing a story with spooky sound effects, and so much more!
The All City Elementary Orchestra students had the special opportunity to meet and ask questions to Bruce Tippette, the composer of a commissioned piece called "The Lair at Midnight." The piece was performed for the first time last week at the String Spectacular Concert!
