I really did not want to celebrate my birthday this year, mostly because I never really enjoyed my birthdays until I met my wife. With her gone, it feels really empty. I enjoyed seeing everyone’s shinies today, so if you posted something, thank you. ❤️

Shiny Illumise in the Friend Safari! I didn’t count the encounters but this took a while, I never really liked Illumise but @Tales_of_Taylor made realize how much I love its shiny.
I'm really torn between wanting to have friends who also shiny hunt to hang out with, and also being too shy and scared of new people to try. 😵💫 Will probably just stick to shiny hunting while watching streams
I know I’m not the most active here, and I’m still working on set ups for the special events throughout the year, but I really love the Shiny Hunting community and that I get to be a part of it. Pokémon has been a big part of my life since I was a child, and I’m glad it still is.

Shiny Darumaka after a grueling 15,528 encounters and shiny #4 for my Black DTQ. Phase 2 for the elusive Shiny Sigilyph. Good luck on your hunts!
My wife and I have decided to part ways, after a few weeks of sorting through emotions and navigating what the future holds. I will probably be shiny hunting more as both a way to cope and to fill my time. Currently over odds for Darumaka/Sigilyph, hope to get them both quickly.

My first two in one day! Earlier I found a Shiny Male Frillish at 3032 encounters for my DTQ, and then phased with a Shiny Sandile ending my first phase for Darumaka and Sigilyph at 3418 encounters! Two wonderful shinies.
