I don’t know who needs to hear this but rest is not a reward. You don’t have to earn rest. You need rest. You deserve rest. You are worthy of rest simply because you are a living being. And don’t ever feel guilty for taking time to rest.
Affirm: My mind is a garden where I plant seeds of gratitude, joy, abundance, health, and peace.
Remember, most of your stress comes from the way you respond, not the way life is. Adjust your attitude, and all that extra stress is gone.
Uncomfortable emotions don’t go away until you recognize them. Pain ignored is pain that multiples. You can’t distract your way to healing. Embrace the discomfort and push through.
