What Jonathan said is spot on. AI produces a lot of garbage when you test it by asking about the German occupation of the Channel Islands.
I asked Grok if Allied soldiers were tsctically superior to the Germans in Normandy... It immediately embraced bias factoids, myth, debunked tropes, crap datasets & relying on Beevor Hastings. Don't trust AI for good history.
