What could anyone ever need with 13 climate change reporters? That’s true decadence

I just read that The Washington Post laid off 13 climate change reporters. I am sorry they lost their jobs, but boy what a lost journalistic opportunity.

Hilarious that this Monkey guy is saying this to Erik IYKYK

I was already trying to educate people about the gut-brain axis before you even knew it existed. x.com/i/status/20188…

Everything is circadian

This result was finally published. TL;DR: Treating cancer early in the morning seems to substantially beat treating it later in the day. Just changing patient appointment times is supposedly associated with a ~60% reduction in cancer mortality.

This might be the biggest result from this year's ASCO meeting. Assuming this holds, then just by treating people early in the day, we can DOUBLE survival time for the most common (80-85%) type of lung cancer. As a reminder, lung cancer accounts for 20% of ALL CANCER DEATHS.

“Mean EAA digestibility” is a poor marker for protein quality. You need to look at leucine/lysine/methionine per kcal, and that’s where animal foods shine. Far greater density of the amino acids that truly matter than even your soy burger (which, agreed, is decent)

I dont think you understand what I'm trying to say. I am a Dutch person with Dutch ancestry. Do you understand? If your ancestral logic would play a role, why are the famous oldest living vegans all caucasians? Many of them died past centanarian age. Did nobody teach you guy…

True Plenty of exceptions exist, and those exceptions are probably disproportionately reading this right now, but it is true.

No, but I do subscribe to the idea that you should eat the whole animal, and that means not only eating ribeyes or only eating filet. It’s also why collagen is so important. Eat meat and whatever comes along with it (or doesn’t)

Do you buy this "lean cuts" thing?

Unpopular opinion: habitually having a pastry with your coffee is as much an eating disorder as being so obese that they have to remove a wall from your house in order to airlift you out. It’s about the reliance on sweet treats rather than the amount consumed.

Unpopular opinion: habitually having 1-2 drinks a night to wind down is alcoholism just as much as getting wasted on the weekend is. It’s about the reliance on the alcohol more than the amount consumed.

Be sure to tell your fatty liver that it's not the quantity, it's the reliance
