On Thursday I went to the Birmingham Rep to see the stage play of Withnail & I. Boy, what a fabulous production. Afterwards I met the cast, inc Matt Devitt, who played the farmer. They were all very kind & welcoming & we chatted about the film & compared notes! Such a great day
We had a lovely lunch in the Shakespeare pub near Birmingham Rep on Thursday. Very tasty food.

I see an episode of Heartbeat I was in (from 2002) is on itv3 at 6.55pm this evening. S11, E23 'Caught in the Headlights'. I appeared in 4 eps of Heartbeat over the years, all different characters. Pics here are from the episode tonight. Repeated tomorrow at 12.40pm
Me in Waiting For Godot at Harrogate Theatre in 1978. Myself, Harry Beatie & Alec Linstead were the main cast. Directed by Mark Piper. I played Estragon. It was a very long time ago, but I remember we played to full houses & it was very well received. #actorslife #jobbingactor
An independent film I had a lead role in. I was very flattered that the character I played was written especially for me. We toured it as a stage play in 2012 & 2014 before it was filmed in 2017. It was great fun.
