My response to the blatantly false and insulting assertion by yet another Conservative MP today that the National School Food Program is “garbage” and hasn’t fed a single child in Canada.
Our government just introduced new legislation to protect your community, your home, and your loved ones. We’re bringing in stricter bail and sentencing laws to keep violent, repeat offenders off our streets — and hiring 1,000 new RCMP personnel.
No child should go hungry — and no MP should call efforts to end child hunger "garbage."
