Americans are embarrassed and ashamed that we have a President who says that Ukraine started the war with Russia. We must defend our 250 year tradition of being the Democratic leader of the world, and not turn our backs on a struggling country that is trying to save its people.

We are very grateful to the United States for all the support. I’m thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US.

A hero and a coward are meeting in the Oval Office today. And when the meeting is over, the hero will return home to Ukraine.
The fact Israel came SECOND in the public vote gives me immense hope. It means despite what we’re told sometimes, the whole world doesn’t hate us. We have friends or at least people who are willing to treat us fairly, hear us out, and judge us on our merits. We will dance again
