This feller ain’t got the brains God gave a goose. He wants us to believe money launderin’, tax evasion, even shopliftin’ is a “hate-crime.”

The “hate” against Josh Hawley for this is both ironic & idiotic. All crimes are “hate crimes.” Breaking the punishment of crimes down by which race was impacted (essentially non-whites) is inherently racist and counter-productive. This is nothing but divisive virtue-signaling.

Anytime there's a random lootin', Republicans demand Democrats own it, condemn all minorities, then admit they're all members of the Communist Party, but good luck findin' a single Republican who'll denounce the armed white insurrection against our own country.

I would ask if Tucker Carlson is okay, but I don’t really care. Do you?

That's... exactly what we saw.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX): "You didn't see Republicans when we had control of the Senate try to rig the game. You didn't see us try to pack the court."

Blaming the homeless is not only an example of "blaming the victim." It also lets the economic system off the hook for failing to (1) provide people with enough income to secure decent housing or (2) to make decent housing affordable or (3) both.

I'm stoked about Biden recognizing the Armenian Genocide primarily because it'll make the worst people online angry and I'm here for that

D.C. should be a state.

Huh? There was a Nats game and 8,000 fans came and they won. And 8,000 went home happy. Guess DC not too scary for ⚾️!!!!

DC is completely dead tonight. People stayed in and were scared to go out because of fear of riots. Police are everywhere and have riot gear. #BLM is the strongest terrorist threat in our county.

This is gonna sound wild -but- did you know that you can break up a fight without firing a gun and killing a teenager?

I happen to believe that getting an education should not leave you in crippling debt for decades.

Republicans will defend the Second Amendment on the ground that they need it to resist government tyranny but then go on to support shit like this

NEW: Republicans in 34 states have introduced legislation to crack down on protestors. They'd bar people from student loans & state aid, boost penalties for unlawful assembly and immunize drivers who strike protesters in the streets. w/@PatriciaMazzei nytimes.com/2021/04/21/us/…

Swing and a miss. The public pressure secured his arrest, not his conviction. Which, yeah, isn’t how the system should work. He should have been in cuffs the day he murdered Floyd.

There is widespread recognition on the Left, both among media and politicians, that the enormous public pressure campaign was crucial to achieving the Chauvin conviction. Which is typically not how criminal justice systems are supposed to work.

Caleb Loos reposted

Looking forward to several years of conservatives bitching about the injustice that public pressure led to Chauvin’s conviction (unlikely, unprovable) while ignoring the injustice that public pressure was the only reason he was ever even charged (objectively and obviously true)

Sure seems like lots of folks in my former world of conservative media are bummed out that there wasn’t any rioting or looting they could condemn.

So glad Trump’s not here to weigh in.
