Theory: The majority of people who leave the Church do so from a lack of FAITH in God. They are disillusioned by selective events in Church history or bothered by the Gospel as practiced by someone, but bottom line is they lose faith in God. True, false, or maybe?
If one spends time in the 3% of the ruins of the Mayans uncovered, it's easily obvious Christ visited this land. His evidence is all over the place in Tulum, Chitzan Itza. Ek Balam and more. No idea where Book of Mormon took place, but no doubt Christ visited here. Russia too.

"6 DAYS IN AUGUST?" Go see it! Payoff is mighty. An extremely enthralling, honest look at the death of Joseph Smith and ascension of Brigham as next prophet. Compelling Story well produced and accurate. Sensitive topics told truthfully. A strong spiritual payoff as well.
Great movie: REAGAN Best filming, acting, direction. Script so simple: real calendar from 1930s to 1990, tell the truth- insert Reagan quotes! I know. Liz and I were there for so many of the events from 1981 in DC to my meeting with Supreme Soviets, Yeltsin’s Cabinet in 1991.

Serve at Assisted Living branch. Took Sacrament w/young priest to all who couldn’t attend church but wanted the sacrament. We offer prayers and sacrament at each person’s apt. One on one. What the Gospel is. Of the 60 residents, only 5 decline. Faithful to the end. Inspiring.
