I was reminded of Disco, the indie Mac app that let you burn CDs and DVDs. It animated smoke above a custom window as you burnt the disc. Moving the mouse cursor through it would waft the smoke. Or... maybe I was just reminded of burning CDs and DVDs. 🤔
