What Real Madrid needs is to replace players that have won the club trophies with Brentford and Wolves players on tiny wages that don't win anything for the sake of saving money? 💀 Almost 5k people liked this btw. Games gone.

Ruben Amorim will fix this player power nonsense at Real Madrid. Starting from Vini and Mbappé. Everyone is just acting unprofessional in that team, no wonder they’re struggling. They need someone like Amorim to come in and deal with the ego in that squad, exactly the way he…

Hence the amnesia. Just take a minute to think about it. ‘Arbeloa’s freedom style will lead to problems like under Ancelotti last season’. Why not that it’ll lead to the success of Ancelotti’s other three seasons, which was 75% of the freedom ball style?

You can’t have a very organised coach with an unbalanced squad that you’re not going to change either. It worked under Ancelotti and Zidane mostly. Except you also embrace changing the squad, you are better off with a ‘freestyler’ who can potentially adapt than a stricter coach

What I’m doing is call out the amnesia and you don’t want to face that it’s a bad point to pick one of four seasons to judge an approach. And no, I don’t like the approach, but some of you are sounding like it’s the first time we’ve been dysfunctional and it’s killing me.

mh reposted

It’s selective. You can’t pick one out of 4 seasons and tag it a problem of the approach. Wouldn’t you think that’s the outlier instead? I’m saying that it’s the case for any team. When most teams lose influential top players, they tend to suffer, regardless of the coach(ing)

Hence the amnesia. Because there’s 3 other seasons of Ancelotti ‘freedom ball’ but he chose one where it went wrong. Your second point is basically every team. X coach had X player to help them. Yeah, that’s how football is.

The amnesia around Ancelotti’s time at Real Madrid is killing me. The season before last, the man adapted his way through one of the worst assembled squads. You can’t have an organised coach with an unbalanced squad if you won’t change the squad. Better off with an adaptable one

Real Madrid’s best chance of success with an unbalanced squad was having a coach with a very organised way of playing in & out of possession like Alonso. But their players rejected it. Arbeloa’s freedom-ball with an unbalanced squad will cause issues like Ancelotti’s last season.

Because of human nature. They were not getting eliminated last night no matter the result. That has an impact in the real world. Not every game of football is equal. Any team knowing there's no possible negative outcome will take their foot off the gas.

I said the same shit last season 💀 The team that finished 15th in the "league phase" last season won it, the team that finished 6th in it lost 5-0 in the next round, the team that finished 1st went out in the next round. It means nothing, Stop falling for marketing tactics.

All this because Arbeloa is an ass kisser for Mou.

There are 569 cameras and 287 lip readers on Vini every match, but I'm yet to see a clip of him asking to be subbed off?

Xabi is a funny man. Why did he want to change a culture that’s been successful in his first months, with no credit in the bank?

🚨 OFFICIAL: Álvaro Arbeloa decides Real Madrid will return to train at their opponent’s ground before UCL matches. A normal routine under Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane. It was changed earlier this season by Xabi Alonso because he did not want to reveal tactical details.

I am giving it to Jude Bellingham for what his impact did for the team that season Mbappe and Cristiano had unbelievable stats individually but Bell raised the ceiling of the entire team

Who had the greatest debut season in the history of Madrid?

Who remembers when Xabi Alonso benched Vinicius vs Elche for Rodrygo, just to play Rodrygo at RW and *Fran Garcia* at LW for 60 whole minutes? (We ended up drawing that game)

Vinicius will have the greatest performance of his life the moment he faces this Xabi’s Liverpool. Bet your life on it.

More than €1,000,000,000 spent last five years and they still saying this.

The offensive approach isn’t optimal, but ultimately it’ll come down to talent. We simply don’t have enough game winning offensive talent in the squad.

The weather is BAD out there and it’s very important that you STAY HOME and STAY OFF THE ROADS so this guy can safely keep doing cool tricks around city hall

Someone is flying around City Hall tail whipping in a little buggy to Olivia Dean’s ‘Man I Need’. Philadelphia is the best city in the world and you can’t convince me otherwise

Endrick is him man. It’s just so easy for him to get goals or assists. Born end product machine.

Van Dijk wasn’t even as good as Andrea Barzagli.

You are so wrong about this, there has never ever been a better CB on this planet

I’d say it again, Zidane being Carlo’s assistant previously helped him know how to handle these players. He’s so good with them and same way most players love Carlo, that’s the exact way a lot of them love Zidane. Class!!

🗣 Miguel Gutiérrez: "I will always be very grateful to Zidane because he gave me my debut at Real Madrid. That day he told me, "Miguel, it's no different, just keep doing what you've been doing at Castilla, that's why you're here, to help us. You're more than good enough."…

My only anger is that Perez didn't sack him soon enough. Alonso should have been sacked after that Celta Vigo game

Perez sacking Alonso might be the turning point of the season it literally united the players who now look like a team. Those “spoiled brats” “not good enough” players are now “carrying” Arbeloa.🤷🏿‍♂️ Accept it or not sacking Alonso was a blessing
