do we know anyone in the state who got a bunch of slabs stolen recently? because that's the only way this makes any sense to me

A Customer in Tukwila, Washington traded in 126 PSA slabs for $3,095 store credit! He got a Nintendo Switch 2, two pro controllers, pre-ordered Pokemon Z-A, and more. Left very happy!

regretfully pushing the big red button of the public tweet. @lostincult @JonDoyleDesign i submitted a support ticket a month ago about my package being lost, and a DM about it a week ago, neither of which have yet been acknowledged. politely waving my hand in hopes of redress.

first @KEYGENCHURCH made me cry with Sarabande of Healing and now @TheNobleDemon makes me want to kick down a fucking wall with Ebony Wings i may be biased but so far Ode to Castlevania is the greatest piece of DLC ever released for anything ever

an understated effect of publicly running down bad behavior is that it's also a strong signal to those in the community who still hold prejudices but want to stay in the group. any ideas of 'slow correction' very rarely work unless there's a legitimate fear of exclusion at play

The reason Japanaese studios are making consistently great games as an industry hub is quite simple. Many of their teams have been making games together for a long time, sometimes decades. They build upon their pipelines, they know the strengths and weaknesses of their teams.…

Bryan developed a theory of fandon on the Guys podcast that seems to hold up: You have to be 3-4 different types of Guy to be normal. If all your energy goes into liking 1 or 2 things then you turn into a lunatic.

if you think this is a bad thing, line up and i'll fight you too. too many of you have evidently forgotten where you came from, and what drew you into the dark underbelly of games as an industry and not just a consumer product

FAN TRANSLATION MODTOOL We've launched a modtool for "Monster Camp" that allows for people to individually or collectivelly make fan translations for the game. We've also created a channel in our Discord server for anyone interested in teaming up for specific languages!

i QRT because i know you'll have to see it wahahaha anyway my corollary is "don't sell shit you're stealing in the first place" which i feel should be unobjectionable. AND YET. 'early access' models get a soft pass bc that's more a patronage model.. ie. what patreon's meant for

My hot take is paid modding isn't that bad, especially when you can just ignore it if you don't like it. I think any mod above $15 is kind of atrocious, but in the same breath I'll defend patreons because that's generally $10 a month for like two to three early access mods.

What's infuriating about silly exec and production dates is that anyone with a decent amount of experience knows that if a, b, and c are not there, they can't reliable predict an end point, but they will try to do so with confidence and mash schedules to make it happen.

every bug you see on release and go 'what the fuck was QA doing? how the fuck did they let this through?' has made at least three QA testers scream into their hands/a pillow/at each other

Share something about games that only developers know, and gamers are unaware of.

dawntrail mfs like 'we should have been able to choose who to support' like the WoL would ever have supported anyone else hate to break it to you because i know you have an attachment to your cinnamon bun but the story character was never a blank cipher to project on

this man has not missed a single time in his life and he is not about to start now. my god. this is like the platonic ideal of how a shmup should look in my head, but it really exists

pleased to say that now that @SakuraCon has a permanent mascot, i can no longer annoy my managers by repeatedly pointing out 'we have less consistent branding than a Gunpla store in New Jersey' sorry @GundamPlanet for using you as a rhetorical weapon. Plum is just too good...

zoning out to old playlists and wondering what an @asheohara and @jimgreyofficial duet would sound like. i suspect it might be powerful enough to kill me immediately
