Please pray for the eternal rest of the five people who were murdered, and the recovery of the 18 injured, at the shooting at #ClubQ, an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs last night. Pray and work for an end to the evils of homophobia, transphobia and gun violence.
I keep thinking about this Maya Angelou quote: “My faith is tested every day, and more times than I’d like to confess. I fall so miserably into the chasm of disbelief. Then the Spirit lifts me up again. I am once again filled with Spirit and firmly planted on solid ground.”

Planting new churches is (1) an irreplaceable way to bring unchurched people to faith, (2) an irreplaceable way to renew existing churches, (3) a crucial way to develop new Christian leaders in a city, (4) the best way to reach new generations, new immigrants, new people groups.
