Great update! basecaller - V5.0.0 sup=Q28.3！In 16S rRNA, the original quality score of the Mock community reached Q27.1, and after removing barcode and primers, the quality score reached Q28.3 (accuracy: 99.85%); Environmental samples can reach Q26.3.
it’ll be interesting to see how v4.3 models stack up, compared to the ones used here
