We've normalized a space where scams are common, complexity is expected, and 'getting rugged' is seen as a rite of passage. Imo this is the #1 barrier to adoption and frankly, everyday users deserve better. Here’s the vision I'm building toward & how you can help shape it!👇
Why are we ok with crypto still being HARD AF to use? Kicking off a new series, where ill go through basic tasks in crypto, and how to simplify them. 1st: Bridging This is what bridging looks like for most people: THE COMPLEX WAY: 1. Google "how to bridge ETH to Monad" 2.…
I guess you can call @tator_trader a super app when you got: - Trade (Buy, Sell, Bridge) - Prediction Markets - Perps - Omni Platform - NFTs - Yield - DCA Automations - ActionFi campaigns - & more From a single app. Pioneering things ain't easy, but someone's gotta do it!
The Next Big Thing for Crypto could be SuperApps. Fintech superapps like Nubank, Revolut, and Cash App generate billions in revenue by bundling financial services into one interface. But they're constrained by permissioned banking systems built on traditional rails. Crypto…
Most crypto campaigns optimize for the wrong thing. They measure: - Impressions - Attention - "Engagement" All vanity metrics that can be botted. Then wonder why 70% of budget goes to farmers. You get what you measure. And we're measuring the wrong stuff.
⚠️Play-to-Earn Malware Wrecking Users....⚠️ Watch with sound on :) You get a message that seems intriguing, they want you to beta test a play-to-earn game and you'll earn $1,000 a week.. Holiday money, right? Fast forward: you just downloaded malware and lost everything.....…
In Web2 there's this thing called, "the user journey", that companies define. This is KEY to any successful app and has been proven. Understanding the user journey, & the friction points is CRUCIAL, and something we seem to have forgotten in this space. More thoughts below👇
I've built 3+ products with $0 funding. You know who I answer to? Users. They complain? I listen They give feedback? I build They leave? I ask why That's it. That's the job. This shouldn't be controversial. What Wals outlines here is the reason people continue to call this…
I tried being bullish on @footballdotfun but recently the team has been absolutely nuking on any user with real feedback They muted me and @GarrettLorman for speaking up calling us losers, telling me about my sad existence and how I should sell it all I will. Big tweet coming
Been working in Web2 for real companies, my whole life (15+ years). Users told you immediately when you were wrong. Usage data didn't lie. Started building in crypto. Completely different game. Community tells you you're a genius until metrics show you're not. Still learning…
The crypto industry has normalized scams. We say things like "DYOR" and "not your keys" as if it's the user's fault when they get rugged. Imagine if banks said "should've researched harder" when you got robbed. We've accepted dysfunction as default. That's the real problem.
random thought: we are not getting real adoption until we start betting on projects/builders with proof of building, not just because a project "has connections" and who can raise the most.
random thought: we are not getting real adoption until we start betting on non (or just less) speculative use cases
Most crypto products are built by people who already understand crypto. Then they're surprised when normal people don't use them. You can't design for adoption while thinking like a power user. That's the trap.
gtot is the signal. if you’re not using it, then you are probably like @DCBK2LA making your life complicated still.
This is the ActionFi model in motion: real users, real actions, real rewards. We’re just getting started.
Rewards just dropped for the @Somnia_Network ActionFi campaign! 💸 If you hit the qualifiers, your payout is already in your wallet.
Most "campaign analytics" tools are built by people who've never ran a campaign or similar in Web2. They guess what matters. Add features nobody needs. Ship dashboards that look good, but tell you nothing useful. I built this because I was flying blind. Different motivation.
Alright. Ghost users in crypto. Here's the thing about them. Ran a pilot. 12 users. Week 1 results: 3 active (25%) 6 at risk (50%) 3 already gone (25%) 75% either left or about to. Those 6 "at risk" users? They qualified. Did the work. Then... crickets. 1-2 days without…
GM! Yesterday we talked about the 58% farming problem. Today: the ghost user problem (which is honestly worse). 50% of our pilot users were flagged "at risk" of churning. Let's talk about why that matters more than you think. 🧵 coming later this morning.
Not a bad 150% win! Always gotta bet on my Cowboys on Thanksgiving game. Directly on the timeline with Tator and Myriad!
Alright, your $50 bet on the Cowboys is officially placed on the Abstract chain via Myriad. You're now holding 112.57 shares for that outcome. Let's see if they can mash the competition. Here's the transaction: abscan.org/tx/0x611baa55b… You can keep an eye on this position and…
Wild stat from our ActionFi pilot Flagged farmer users qualified 1.7x faster than clean users. Fastest to gold tier: 2 hours 5 minutes Average clean user: 1 day 17 hours Speed isn't always skill. Sometimes it's farming. This is why qualification speed matters.
