Welp, laid off from HashiCorp today. Wish I got more of a chance to celebrate what I’ve been able to accomplish over the past year to help advance Kubernetes Gateway API and extending it into service mesh with GAMMA. Looking for a new role now, hopefully involving open source!
Claiming that a lobbyist from Uber & CEOs from other companies are workers in order to rig a union election is totally absurd & disgusting. I strongly support Compass Workers and call on Compass Coffee DC to respect the rights of their workers to organize & end its union busting.

I stopped by @thewydown on H Street this morning to show my support for the workers & what has always been a great place to grab a coffee or meet up with neighbors. If the owners have closed both shops to avoid a vote by workers to organize, it’s the wrong move plain & simple.
After three long weeks, we have an election date! We will be voting by mail-in ballot, and the votes will be counted June 10th. Thanks again to all of you for supporting our cause!
