If you’re interested in making music for games, I’d love to know what excites you the most about it?
It’s never about the style or the genre of music you write but rather “what you say” that makes it “your” music. What is truly interesting lies in there, in you.
Every musc I write lyrics for are deeply embedded in the thematic of their respective game. Something players don’t really realize but that is very important to me and the devs. Consistency is key in everything I do when I score a game.
Done with Ninja Gaiden 4. What a game!! Starting Dispatch. Seems intriguing. Lumines Arise for VR is stunning. I’m finally at the wedding in KC2 and I did the 2 paths to get there :) This year is a blast for gaming!!!!
In this world of fake, hypocrisy, numbers, mediocrity celebration, decadence of how art is viewed and used; of clubs, protected interests, manipulation, business oriented only. The only way to fight back is to create with integrity and humility with people of the same sort.

Lately anything is “a masterpiece”, “goated”, “the best of the year”. Only history will tell and overall, the vast majority will be forgotten, as it should be.
I wonder how much AI will learn from all the tutorials that are shared online by composer explaining how to create a "great mockup", "great action scene", "great emotional"... I always thought this sort of tutorial helps more into standardization than emancipation so let's see..
I think @greedfall 2 music is quite soothing... Nothing will ever compete with a live orchestra in creating such sound.
Thanks to social media, I’ve found amazingly talented musicians that may deserve more attention yet they live for their art and craft. Real artists and great human beings. I’m Grateful to be working with each of them.

One of my earliest mistakes in making music design was to make the music so seamless that you couldn't tell that it was working depending on the player's actions. Sometimes you need to sacrifice musicality to impact players.
Was told #APlagueTale series is the saddest video game ever made. Nothing can beat “Dead Or Alive Extreme Beach Volley Ball” and the extreme feeling of sadness when you get rejected by Christie…
Went to watch "One Battle After Another" and "Tron: Ares" and in both, some sequences had music front and center, loud and clear. In each case, the music was more than just dull, canned stock stuff. Is music making a comeback in movies?!
