A petition to curtail parental choice in Alberta…during a teachers strike? Yikes. Complex classrooms are a serious issue. Kids (the most important stakeholders in education) need more access to diverse school options, not less. More choice is the solution, not the problem.

The Nova Scotia gov banned dog walking, fishing, cycling — anything in woods/trails, til Oct 15. They banned people from hosting on wooded areas of their own properties. Fine is $25k. Here they advertise the line to call if you see someone violating “woods restrictions.” Deja vu.
