I'm all in for more cuts to the bill. It's big, but it's not beautiful yet. The Senate's job is to make the bill better before sending it back to us. The House's job is to pass DOGE rescissions and EO codification bills that are collecting dust. Not to go home.

Elon Musk, in 2021, on the federal budget: You can't just spend $3 trillion more than you earn every year and don't expect something bad to happen. Something's got to give.

Elon has been publicly and privately saying he doesn't care about the EV tax credit since last year. This is direct from Forbes. Both he and Trump have also publicly together said this during speeches and rallies. The narrative that this tiff is because of EV Credits is false.
