🧵How learning @bubble helped me go from freelancer to agency founder Two years ago, I was freelancing with wordpress and python django I knew how to build, but I didn’t know how to scale my skills into income. Here’s how it helped me go from solo to agency.
Comet is how old again? Wow.
This is a fact No amount of money is small and same way no amount of money is a lot. It all depends on who is talking.
Easier to grasp as in: it is not abstract, you get to see the result of what you are doing just immediately.
Week 2 / Day 4 Yesterday was an insightful class for me, getting to learn about fonts in depth as regards design. I started the product design course organized by @devanddesignhq with the esteemed @Joe_brendan_ been the the instructor. Indeed there is so much you miss if you…

Doing more of this now
You have more to gain by showing and talking about your work. People who don’t know you need to know you’re good.
This is true most people that hire from freelance platforms have no technical background because of this they only focus on what they can see. They just care about getting it to work, I have to sometimes schedule call with my clients to show them exactly how the front end and…
I’ve never seen a backend developer get gigs from freelance platforms. Is it just me or….??
The part of thinking is very crucial it shapes clear direction so you don’t end up aimlessly writing code.
If you think software engineering is about writing code, you're missing the part where we spend 80% of our time thinking, deciding, and communicating. Code is just how we express the solution we've already shaped through careful thinking.
A design that is beautiful with accessibility across different user perspectives is as no design at all.
For me…accessibility in design means designing for every form of human, like across all borders. It is designing something that is not just usable, but also understandable for all users.
It is not the tool that matters really but what you do with the tool.
Talent is universal. Opportunity isn't. Help send African Ethereum builders to DevConnect Buenos Aires via @AfricanOnChainC @kokebsolomon I'll be matching up to $2,000.00 in donations. Every dollar counts. Learn more about the program / donate here: africanonchaincollective.xyz
This hits differently
10 years later you will realize that the things you're using as an excuse today to not lock in were not really excuses that should hold you back.
Big congratulations once again...
I am really excited to share that I have joined the DevRel team @MidnightNtwrk as a developer educator. For the past few months, I've been deep in the zero-knowledge world, understanding challenges developers face building privacy-preserving applications.
I don’t do any of those.
I did not take this seriously until I learnt the hard way. Now I’m a bubbler with an agency with two employees. It does not matter the tool just make it work for you.
"Learning no-code tool makes me less of a developer" I pity you Learn anything that can put food on the table.
One funny truth I’ve come to realize with @bubble is that you are actually coding you are not just seeing the reds and the blues.
There something about waking up to mediate, lay your bed and just keep your environment tidy when you are alone like you would if you were expecting a visitor.
My advice to first-time technical founders: 1. Start with just a single feature 2. Choose a market with *tons* of competitors 3. Focus on a specific audience 4. Build in public 5. Charge asap You'll be tempted to skip #5, but don't, it's the most important part.
God please I’m praying for every man seeing this tweet. please just strengthen us so that we don’t die of work , pressure and mental problems. because you can do your best for yourself and your family and never get your flowers till you die.
You don’t need to know everything really, just solve the problem of others with what you presently know and scale there.
