As I have said many times, we should not be paying for what we did not cause! Polluters like Saint Gobain are knowingly poisoning people all over our nation! Dang, the Boston Globe printed what NH media never would. Thank you ⁦@BostonGlobebostonglobe.com/2022/05/30/opi…

Communities all over our nation have endured traumas and loss from PFAS poisoning. And yet @epaleezeldin @EPA @POTUS have put industry in the drivers seat and profits before people with their rush to deregulate and roll back progress we have made @PFASProject

I'm bowled over by how beautifully @NewsHour distilled the story of the community I had the privilege of following for my book. A heartfelt thanks to @WmBrangham and Frank Colson for elevating the voices of residents and helping spread awareness about the scourge of #PFAS.…

Per @epaleezeldin: "regulatory burdens & nearly $1B in implementation costs" on businesses, yet studies show vs >$5B (to upwards of $60B) annually in health costs to families. When he said #PFAS was a priority, he evidently didn't mean to health harms of children & families. 🤬

Are other states using data to advise residents that eating game in known PFAS contaminated areas is not safe? 🙄 thank you, Maine for caring about public health

Maine residents being told not to eat wild turkeys because they may be contaminated with PFAS is a stark example of the pervasiveness of these “forever chemicals.” newsweek.com/turkey-warning…

🤬🤬@pfoaprojectny1 while this infuriates me, you forever sharing the right info is much appreciated. I know the feeling of “I won’t stop until everyone is safe”

“The ingredients needed to make & keep America sick for generations are being approved right now under an administration falsely claiming it cares about our health.” #PFAS last 'forever' in the earth. 1000s of health studies of harm ignored. Brilliant🙄🙄 biologicaldiversity.org/w/news/press-r…

This upsets me so much. It’s an invisible crisis of tasteless, odorless and highly toxic chemicals and this admin is looking the other way

"The footprint of #PFAS occurrence at the depth of public and domestic water supply may continue to expand as groundwater is recharged to aquifers and migrates downward over time, given the extensive PFAS contamination reported in air, rain, and soil, among many other sources."

Per @leotrasande: "As much as we think of #PFAS as a whole different exposure, it’s a molecule in many plastics. To me, it’s front and center of this broader micro- and nanoplastic chemicals phenomenon that we’re facing”

Our nation is facing a threat that the majority of people are unaware of due to the constant state of reeling we are in. EYES open, everyone! Our health and environment should not be threatened by our own government!

Perhaps our government should look at #PFAS exposure in utero and infancy instead of putting a bit in charge of HHS who’s delivering a win for the chemical industry by pointing the finger at Tylenol 🤬

Association between #PFAS (at pretty low levels) & children's brain development. Potential effects on the brain are relevant not only for individuals who are highly exposed as PFAS are present in almost all pregnancies from conception through development thelancet.com/journals/lanpl…
