The latest perf improvements have made Lua Learning load faster. Speeding up the old loading screen felt weird, so I made a new one instead! Lots of fun animation.
If I flatten my field of view to make distant objects large enough, you can clearly make out the further objects being "choppier" than the nearby ones. This is where most of the performance saving happens besides for the view culling.
This is pretty neat! I'm curious to know how you're calculating all of this with optimization? Do you think this could work for Mesh deform? 😯
