We have had a fantastic 2nd day with our Y6 students, engaging with a range of exciting lessons&an afternoon with @problemsolveit focusing on being resilient, finished with a copy of ‘Can You See Me’ to read. A further huge thank you to all our families who joined us tonight.
Our Year 7 & 8 cohort had a series of team building challenges as part of their Curriculum Enrichment Week schedules, with Year 7 hosting @problemsolveit, who led engaging activities that aimed to critical thinking, mathematical understanding, and dialogue. #respect #enrichment
Our pupils dove into #MathsDay earlier this week w/ 3D balloon shape + Pattern Making Challenge, led by the brilliant @problemsolveit. Thank you! From creating shapes w/ balloons to exploring patterns with blocks, we're enthusiastic about hands-on learning and problem-solving.
Year 3 loved their session with @problemsolveit where they had to use their fraction knowledge to match dominoes, build a cube and use their shape knowledge to make different sided shapes! Some groups even managed to complete the cube and dominoes activity! #HurworthYear3
We're excited for our maths day tomorrow, with problem solving activities provided by @problemsolveit. Don't forget to come to school dressed as digits!
