Watching the sideshow in the HOC, is like watching US news, not surprising, as Conservatives have continually been leveraging strategies that have worked south of us: misinformation, theatrics, demonizing; all while not sharing any real strategies to address what concerns them.
If you get the chance, try to spend 15-20 minutes every day with an open book. Possibly a cup of tea or a cat on your lap, enjoying the silence around you, and the cacophony of interesting voices in your head. That usually preps me to face the coming insanity of the day.
Today's a good day to practice #kindness, #compassion, & #respect on X. Imagine if we gave it a try. Pass on name calling, being intentionally hurtful, (even if you think it's 'witty'), being aggressive, hateful, or allow a debate or discussion to become degrading. #mentalhealth
