“Losing isn’t an option.” — Yoshinobu Yamamoto Watching him lock in, shut down every threat, and execute with precision reminded me what true control looks like. That’s the standard I’m holding myself to in work, in learning, in everything.
Been recovering from wisdom teeth removal surgery for a little bit now and have been stuck in bed watching anime and doomscrolling. All I’ve seen showed that you can really do what you set out to do. Obv need to put yourself out there, but the gap isn’t as big as I thought!
Been more consistent in the gym, cutting out bad habits, and making more improvements in life. I need to become more proficient in swe work/projects to make it to the USA for my final internship. The marathon starts now. I need to bunker down, build and remove distractions asap!
did a case competition today at my company, was a good learning experience but showed the difference that makes people finalists when you give them a short constraint and vague requirements. Agency and drive are the most important indicators of success and I need to keep going!
The root cause of the problem is boredom. I do that instead of doing something more productive. I need to do better with talking to people. The conference was a fail in that regard. I must reach out to people at my internship. Progress is mandatory and losing isn’t an option.
Going to a tech conference this week and seeing the people around my age attending and those at my school reminded me: there are levels to this. My goal over the next year is clear: land an American internship. This is the first step 🔐 May I soon see the fruits of my labour 🙏
A week ago, I realized I wasn’t pushing myself to the level I know I can. I made this account to hold myself accountable and track consistent effort → improvement. Sunday, Nov 2nd, 2025 is day one of the turnaround. From here on, I’m working like my life depends on it.
