Great idea! You can run laser toolpaths from Lightburn or CNC profiles developed in Fusion We recommend running your system on LinuxCNC so you can take advantage of the M52 command for closed loop feedrates! This is super important for Wire EDM
I am very tempted to buy a @RackRobotics powercore and turn my voron into a wire edm machine. Has anyone does this? How does the water bath work? Are there wire edm slicers that you guys use?
Wire Tool Kits are here from LDO! These will be included in our desktop WEDM Starter Kits along with a Powercore V3 EDM spark generator and a free spool of wire. We can't wait to get these out the door. QC and final part additions in progress!
Imagine how many shop carts we'll break once we double or triple our spindle time with additional CNCs!
