Thanks for retweeting this @LBofBromley. Surely the time has come for you to formally declare that there is a climate emergency, and do everything you can to combat it? @FoEBromley @BromleyGreens @BromleyLS @GreenercleanerB all have excellent ideas they would be happy to share!

Or that pedestrians and cyclists have to navigate this junction to get to the entrance to Beckenham Place Park?
Wow. Just imagine.
Governments may be telling local authorities to change the default speed limit to 20mph on most urban roads, but in LB #Bromley our Conservative-run Council is simply not listening. #SlowDown #20sPlenty
“It is illogical for governments to retain a national urban limit of 30mph and then urge all the local authorities and cities to change it to 20mph on most urban roads because the national limit is considered inappropriate!” The case for 20. vimeo.com/653008691

No diversion sign at Lower Sydenham end either. Irony is that a) if a road was closed then @LBofBromley would put in a diversion sign and b) said sign would probably obstruct a pavement! @BromleyLS @GreenercleanerB
@LBofBromley @SustransLondon No diversion here for the Pool River Path between Lennard Rd/Kingsley Bridge Rd? This is not just a local path as it's part of LCN21 and Waterlink Way, so can't expect everyone to know local area or have a charged smartphone!!
This should be all over the front pages. The government's terminating our right to protest, through amendments sneaked into the Police Bill at the last minute. It's the biggest assault on democracy in 70+ years, and hardly anyone seems to know. My column theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
LB #Bromley has 520 miles of roads. What will it take for @LBofBromley to create safer streets for everyday #activetravel? Surely #20sPlenty in residential neighbourhoods? "Speed is one of the main issues addressed by residents in the local area ..." (@MPSShortlands)
Happy #RoadSafetyWeek! It is unacceptable that parents have to form a campaign group just to get a safe crossing - Bromley schoolchildren deserve to be able to walk and cycle safely to school. @ChisRoadSafety parents meeting at 3.15 today, see below. Photo credit: @ashfieldlane
To mark the start of national Road Safety Week - some parents from @ChisRoadSafety will be meeting on the green space opposite the War Memorial on Monday 15th November from 3.15pm till 3.45pm Do pop along if you would like to join or just go & say hello! #RoadSafetyWeek
Let's be honest. A truly dismal webinar trying to rescue a half-baked strategy. Nothing short of proper engagement with partners/stakeholders informing a further rewrite of draft #OpenSpaceStrategy is acceptable. And forget about E&CS PDS Cmte rubber stamping it on 17 Nov. 😠

@LBofBromley is #BackToSchool, and we want to know: are any Bromley primary schools signed up to do the @livingstreets walk to school challenge? It promotes active travel, it's simple to run and children love taking part - sign your school up here! livingstreets.org.uk/wow

How about it @LBofBromley @will_harmer ? Still time to promote this in Bromley on 22 September! @BromleyLS @GreenercleanerB @bromleycyclists @LiveableBromley

Lovely street party in Woodbastwick Road yesterday. Meeting new neighbours, children playing in the street and live music. But why does @LBofBromley only allow one free street closure per year? @BromleyLS @londonplay @GreenercleanerB
