I spent today in St George’s School in Blackpool with @TheTeacher6. This school is achieving astonishing things and has a wonderful culture. The thing that stands out about the school more than anything is how warm it is, and how polite the children are! 🧵

We are being conned. Schools need excellent behaviour, which comes from smart uniform, consistency, allowing for top teaching. Bridget is preventing schools from raising standards and will now penalise them with this ridiculous test! It is a trick to promote her career.
