If tariffs bring a lot of manufacturing back to the US, that means way less imports and so they are not raising much tax revenue. 🔁 If tariffs are raising a lot of revenue, then high levels of imports persist and they are not bringing manufacturing back to the US.

Thsi isn't about productivity it was because ministers ordered them to stop processing claims. I know people in those teams who were literally going to work and reading a novel all day because they weren't allowed to do anything. (They are working much harder now...)
