I keep seeing, "I know things are bad, but hang in there, they'll get better" type posts and I would just like to say that unless everyone starts doing the work, things will absolutely not be getting better.

i just will not be fooled into placing hope into US politicians. you know what gave me hope recently though? entire neighborhoods of people in california running ICE agents away. now that we can build on.
at some point, we have to interrogate whether giving people false hope in the very system designed to destroy them is actually a launchpad for liberation or the very obstacle standing in its way.

This is one reason that many autistic people struggle to obtain and keep jobs. The absolute nonsense of the workplace and the way it’s crammed down your throat requires a whole other layer of masking on top of the normie mask we’re already expected to wear. It’s too much.
