Auschwitz "did not fall from the sky". Auschwitz took time. The industrial murder was at the end of a long process which began with coining the idea. Words & propaganda reinforced stereotypes & prejudice. Legal exclusion and dehumanization was followed by escalating violence.
FYI on the VA book banning case: the judge will decide if these books can be *sold or owned* by minors *or adults.* If the books are ruled "obscene," not only will booksellers not be able to sell them, readers can't own them, & if you do either, you risk criminal prosecution.
I checked his voting record for yuks, and for someone who yaps about politics, he’s only voted twice in 20 years.
Hello Audible subscribers and audiobook listeners out there! Audiobooks [AB] are a really handy way to absorb a book without sitting down to read. I, for one, would be lost without them. But... there is an unfortunate truth about Audible which is virtually unknown. THREAD

Day 7 of #libfaves2021: WHEN WE WERE YOUNG by @jaclyngoldis I loved loved loved this one, and I can’t believe this is the author’s debut novel.
Day 6 of #libfaves2021: Float Plan by @TrishDoller A great story about grief and personal growth. This one was one of my favorites from this year.
Day 5 of #libfaves2021: FOR THE WOLF by @hwhittenwrites I loved this fantasy take on a classic fairytale, and I’m looking forward to For the Throne!
Day 4 of #libfaves2021: THE WICKED WIDOW by @authorbeatriz This book was such a great installment to this series and had me crossing my fingers for another book for Gin!
Day 3 of #libfaves2021: An Unexpected Peril by @deannaraybourn I got hooked on this series earlier in the year, and I’m so glad to have Veronica and Stoker in my life.
