I thought about it yesterday and forcing people to pitch in MLB the Show 26 out of the stretch makes the game one dimensional. Everybody essentially will look the same. Every game would have arcade scores. They need to remove cutscenes, have faster load times etc for shorter gm
I see this side of it. I just don’t know if it really shaves that much time. Most people go into the pen by the 4th or 5th inning anyway and there is only a few obnoxiously long wind ups. I think there’s a real skill & skill gap when it comes to pinpoint pitching and doing it

I just can't understand forcing players to only pitch from the strech. That just isn't baseball It might shave a whole three minutes off a ranked game. Absolutely not worth it and I really hope MLB The Show changes this decision before launch.
FYI I have confirmed the following as I know there was some confusion 1) Windup or Stretch: Only in offline modes like Franchise, RTTS, or CPU DD modes (conquest,mini seasons, etc) 2) Stretch: Will be strictly only stretch for DD H2H modes regardless of what option you choose
