I have been convinced for a long time that headache after #SAH is extremely informative — and neglected. Kudos to @namorrismd and team for highlighting #pain after SAH Do you think we take HA after SAH seriously enough? #ISC23 ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.116…

Given all of the awful pain that we see in #SAH, here's a cool study: Distinct Pain Trajectories Following SAH are Associated with Vasospasm. Good grade pts crying = likely spasm. But remember: poor grade pts in pain manifest as storming. goo.gl/scholar/6nfkJi #ScholarAlerts

At hospital discharge, all patients remained dependent. However by 6 months, except for two with severe polyneuropathy, all surviving patients returned home with normal cognition and minimal disability (usually weakness or pain related to prolonged critical illness). (9/10)

Looking for something to do with your downtime after #neurology rounds with students and residents... I run through a few cases on headneckbrainspine.com.

WHERE. ARE. THE. NEUROLOGISTS?? #Medtwitter challenge: Recruit 3 neurologists/fellows/residents/students to Twitter to engage in the (very much lacking) Twitter #Neurology threads. Recent tweet on rare EKG WPW variants had 500+ RTs. Tweet on #Alzheimers treatment... 3 RTs. 🥺
