If you can’t comment on China’s protests without criticizing the US or the west, then there’s a 99.9% chance you don’t know or care about China at all, except insofar as China can be used as an abstraction to prop up your western-centric worldview.

Many outstanding talents in China are Communist Party members. The decision by the US helps keep more talents in China since it takes out their illusion. Not bad. What’s more, non-CPC members now have much less interest in immigrating to the US.
