This came up as FB memory, I was at a Welcome to Yorkshire reception at UK ambassador's residence last day of 2013 TdF to mark Grand Depart. Mad to think there were tens of thousands of people other side of the wall behind me on Champs-Elysees who had no idea this was here.
The only grass tennis court in Paris. Yards from Champs Élysées. And technically, on British soil.

I'm supposed to be in Salisbury for a friend's funeral, we first met through Twitter then in real life through cycle campaigning, he was a lovely guy. Trains from Waterloo have been absolutely kyboshed today, at around 1130 I knew there was no way I would make it. Sorry, Tom 😘
Cycled in today, left home late but based on previous quickest commute of 54 minutes was hopeful I'd take it by 0710. Didn't check time until I arrived. Blimey.
