After state govt order, BMRCL gave multiple contracts for feasibility studies to extend Metro to outskirts, instead of focusing on core city areas. Each study costs Rs 1-2 crore. Naturally, no consultant will call it unviable. Suburban rail/RRTS suits outskirts better
How many people in Bangalore actually know about Suburban Rail and KRIDE? The state government is not helping matters by conducting feasibility surveys on Metro to Tumkur.
