😢 R.I.P. Fred Brooks was the author of "The Mythical Man Month" a book that was hugely influential on so many of us. Also his paper "No Silver Bullet" would be on most people's shortlist of most influential papers.

Best ways to speed things up: • Work on only one thing at a time. • Work as an ensemble, not as isolated individuals. • Get all the skills needed to do the work in one place. • Don't' waste time building things nobody wants/needs. • Trust people to do their work. 1/2

Re: UI Automation. If you can automate a UI with language A using tool B, you know far more than A & B. Remove A & B, you still know how to automate a UI. You know locators, patterns, waits and more. The leap to language C & tool D is not as big as it may seem. You got this.
