Any journalists fancy a FOI to find out how much public money @DominicRaab spent “commissioning advice” on appealing against a criminal sentence - something entirely contrary to his role as Lord Chancellor - before he had even read the sentencing remarks?
I think it's worse than that. In the LBC clip he says "I commissioned advice the minute I heard of the sentences". Err, what? From who? On what basis is it right for the Lord Chancellor or indeed anyone apart from the AG or SG to do so?
