CPU % usage is really complicated. On Apple Silicon, you could use as little as 27% of the CPU's maximum frequency, yet Activity Monitor will show 100% usage of the core. Why? It all has to do with active residency.

One of the plays of the first Trump administration was to do something egregious as a distraction while they did something else they didn’t want you to notice. So while everyone is fixated on the Gaetz AG nomination, don’t lose focus on what else they’re doing.

People still don’t want to believe it, but it’s not a College Football playoff. It is a College Football Invitational tournament based on teams they want there based on inscrutable criteria they’re free to deviate from.

It’s always been this way. They don’t follow their own precedent week to week. They make it up as they go and the pick the ones they want to have in the final ranking.
