I read Satanic Verses in mid 1990's. Of course it wasn't an original copy, because import of the book was banned. But one could freely read it, if wanted.
His book was banned in Congress ruled India. Modi’s India that he so disparages lifted the ban and now his book can be read in India. Islamists came for his head and finally got his eye. He has been living in fear ever since. But guess who he is ‘very worried’ about?

Even if monopoly is ‘fairly earned’ it must be broken. This is irrespective of the fiasco that Indigo has on purpose created.
Its because many players perished due to their own management problems. EastWest,Damania,NEPC,Modiluft dead by 1998. Sahara dead in 2006, Deccan in 2007 MDLR 2009. Kingfisher 2012,Jet 2018, GoAir 2024.Their promoters screwed them. Indigo is a survivor due to op efficiency.
No one company should ever have 65 percent of the market share ever. That is the only lesson to be learnt from this major fiasco. #Indigo
