Service. Duty. Country. Officers like Officer Pourteau stood watch at our nation’s airports every day during the government shutdown. Thank you @POTUS and @Sec_Noem for honoring that commitment.
Traveling during the holidays can be stressful. We're here to help. Try our TSA Cares program if you’re in need of assistance. Please contact them at least 3 days before your flight for extra help getting through the checkpoint. ⬇️ tsa.gov/travel/tsa-car… #HolidayTravel
If you’re pining for some tree-iffic info about traveling with toys in a carry-on bag, we can help you... fir sure. 🌲 Most toys are allowed in your carry-on (yes, even kinetic sand and remote controlled cars), but those resembling weapons must be checked. #HolidayTravel
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from all of us here at TSA. If you’re traveling today, our teams are still working hard at airports across the country to keep you safe. If you have any last-minute travel questions, our @AskTSA team is also here to help.
Trusted by millions. Hearing from the people we serve means everything. Thank you to these travelers who shared their appreciation, and thank you to our officers across the country for their dedication to keeping your journeys safe.
#HolidayTravel Tip: Traveling with your pets this week? Our X-ray machines are not veterinary equipment. Please don’t send your pets through our X-ray scanners! If you believe your pet may attempt an escape during screening, ask our officers about private screening options.

Our live holiday music program started today! The always-entertaining @TSA Choir performed for passengers in our A/B Food Court. We've lined up several local music acts to entertain passengers over the next 3 weeks. #HolidaysAtBWI
If you're traveling during the next two weeks, we suggest arriving at your airport early, especially on peak travel days. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for parking, check-in, and making your way through TSA security. Holiday Travel Tips: tsa.gov/travel/travel-…
NEWS: TSA prepares for holiday travel season to cap record year. TSA is fully staffed and ready to screen a projected 44.3 million travelers at the nation’s airport security checkpoints between Dec 19, 2025 - Jan 4, 2026. Full story: tsa.gov/news/press/rel…
TSA PSA: The body scanners don’t love sparkles. We don’t want to dull your holiday shine but we don’t recommend wearing your sparkly holiday sweater to the airport.
