Just in time for @APItheDocs Chicago we're happy to announce a new test to check to the order of headings in files, to make sure it is consistent through all files or your (API) documentation. Here a sneak preview of the 'Proof of Concept'
Edic (Editor in chief) 0.0.3 is released, this is a pre-release! Switched from "dep" to "go modules", extended version output, and now build with go version go1.12
We are happy to announce that we start to deploy images which are fully OCI compatible! This means you do not need docker or the docker daemon anymore! You can still use docker but runc is enough!
First test builds of the docs for Plone 6! 100% "Docs As Code" = automatically deployed after tests are passing! Theme and such will change for the moment this is mainly for tweaking the test, build and deploy process! All done with containerd and k8s
One more thing, 100% technical correct does not mean that the user understand. Please do not forget to think about wording, file structure, style guides, etc! Thanks!
Dear awesome developer, just a reminder. If you are not writing docs only for yourself but also for others, please do not assume that everyone has your knowledge! Help them by providing links and information! Thanks!
Just in time for fosdem.org/2019/schedule/… and to make it a bit more exiting, we updated the demo setup to the latest versions of Alpine and Vale !
“Different aspects of Continuous Integration Testing for documentation testing” Don’t miss the talk of @der_sven_ (Docops Engineer at @Pronovix!) at #FOSDEM2019 , #ToolTheDocs devroom (Brussels, 2 February) fosdem.org/2019/schedule/… #CI #CItesting #OpenSource #OSS #WriteTheDocs
We love our new notifications :) It's the small details that matters

Awesome day with the help of #writeTheDocs. In less than a day, I got past "Hello World" with Vale (github.com/errata-ai/vale), saw the power with our Jekyll/MD setup, with customizations (github.com/testthedocs/va…). Wow!
