Social media is the fast food of socialization. Porn is the fast food of intimacy. Video games are the fast food of achievement. Netflix is the fast food of entertainment. Meticulously tested combinations of digital fat, sugar, and salt that trigger your survival instincts.
Let your customers spend their money on you to get something which cannot be bought. So always ask yourself this question - what am I selling that cannot be bought?
You have to give them something that’s beyond money. Something that cannot be purchased. What are the things you can get with money? - courses, cohorts, knowledge. But that’s not it. Your community should give people the un-buyable - a sense of belonging.
You can buy attention. But you can’t buy goodwill.
Creators should go ALL-IN doing what they're good at - creating GREAT content. They shoud find growth operators to manage the money part. Growth operators are specialists who can monetize an audience using communities and generate recurring revenue for the Creator.
A low ticket community ($100-$250/month) is a great way to sell your solution in a DIY manner. At least 10% of them would eventually want an up sell to a DFY or DWY solution - which is your high ticket offer.
